Afelzy was born as Binami Afela Alali  a.k.a.  Afelzy  in the garden city of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, on the 11th day of February, 1994 to a God-blessed father and a  God fearing mum which  made it possible  (Late Mrs. Joy Alali) Jp.   Being the last and only child to his father; this talented and promising young-star/upcoming video producer was brought up in a music loving family.  While growing up and also listening to music’s of  Don Williams, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers and lots more which his late mother likes listening; became in love with music.

 This sexy/promising singer and songwriter then kicked off his singing career at the early age of 12, when he recorded his first song (childhood dreams).  He went on performing in churches and concerts which eventually led him to join his church choir.   This was just a stint that earned him a remarkable deal of encouragement and recognition from families, his church and other artistes.  Years later and with a passion for making good music with his God- given talent,  this talented highlife and RnB singer got back into the studio to horn his craft.  He continued to develop as a singer and songwriter by working with and under some of Port Harcourt biggest names such as Maxi, Mkaise, Thai-biz,  Mr. 2kay,  Mr. Drill, E-stylz, B2ice, Ae1 and many more others.   Over the next few years, his talent as a singer and songwriter became evident and it resulted in Afelzy being prominent name alongside some of the Port Harcourt biggest artiste in the musical industry too much critical and commercial acclaimed.

 At the age of 16, this extremely talented and charming young man had already achieved so much, thanks to his drive and focus for turning his life’s experiences into incredible music.  In 2010, he released his first singles, “Tamunoboma”,  and “Dis girl”, then there was the hit song “Biko which was just a studio freestyle that got leaked online and among his close friends and turned into a big hit among lovers of good music’s.

 He also went for the coveted 2010/2011 Odudu Awards for the best RnB and gospel songs collaborated with several artistes, and performed at some A-list events, some of which include the Per
